Harald Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
Harald is made by Elisey Ozerov. This policy explains what the app does with your data. Short version: Harald does not collect it.
What stays on your iPhone
Everything you create or see in Harald stays on your iPhone: the devices it finds, their messages and logs, your protocols, blocks, automations and settings. We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We never receive this data.
Harald contains no advertising and no third-party tracking tools. It does not track you.
Bluetooth and NFC
Harald uses Bluetooth to find and talk to devices near you, and NFC to read tags you hold to your iPhone. It does this only to show you what the devices and tags say and to do what you tell it. Nothing from them is sent to us.
Keys
Secret keys you enter for your own devices are stored in your iPhone's keychain. They never leave your iPhone.
Notifications
If you allow them, Harald shows notifications created on your iPhone by your automations. No notification service of ours is involved.
Web requests you create
An automation can call a web address that you type. When it runs, your iPhone contacts that address directly. That website sees your request, and its own privacy policy applies. We do not see it and do not route it through us.
Exports
Export and share buttons open the iOS share sheet. What you share, and with whom, is your choice.
Purchases
Harald Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment and gives the app a purchase receipt. We do not see your payment details or Apple ID. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles that.
Children
Harald does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
